You should have a 1GHz processor and 256MB of RAM, or better.
You will also need a microphone and speakers or headphones to get sound into and out of your computer. Any equipment will work, and any quality of recording will give you useful feedback for improving your playing. Better quality equipment will obviously give you better quality sound.
The link for the installer will let you save the file "AcousticMirrorWin.msi". This is the installer - save it to your computer and then run it to install Acoustic Mirror.
Acoustic Mirror is based on Java technology - you probably already have Java installed on your computer, but if you don't, the installer will automatically download and install it for you.
For Mac
You should have a 1GHz processor and 256MB of RAM, or better. A G4 Mac or newer will be suitable for running Acoustic Mirror.
You will also need a microphone and speakers or headphones to get sound into and out of your computer. Any equipment will work, and any quality of recording will give you useful feedback for improving your playing. Better quality equipment will obviously give you better quality sound.
The link will enable you to save the file "AcousticMirrorMac.zip". You can then unzip this file on your hard drive to install Acoustic Mirror. You can install the software anywhere you like, but would normally install it in your Applications folder.
Acoustic Mirror is based on Java technology - you probably already have the right version of Java installed on your Mac, but if you don't, you will simply need to run Software Update to obtain a version of Java from 1.5 onwards.
